For clients desiring enterprise records management solutions providing complete life-cycle management of both physical and electronic records, Infolinx is proud to offer the integration of Infolinx WEB with IBM Records Manager, combining our “best of breed” applications into one DoD 5015.2 certified proven solution. This integrated solution is available to both new and existing IBM customers as an add-in component. Infolinx WEB is the newest addition to the IBM Records Manager component and an integral part to implementing an IBM Federated Records Management solution.
Among other things, this integrated solution includes the creating of a centralized repository for the management of physical and electronic records and the streamlining of processes with a single web-based enterprise program, increasing security and promoting the application of consistent classification, retention and disposition guidelines, resulting in increased productivity and the reduction of legal exposure.
Infolinx and IBM Records Manager
The Infolinx solution is fully integrated with IBM’s Records Manager (RM) and synchronized with IBM’s Federated Records Management (FRM) layer. This synchronization ensures a consistent, comprehensive corporate record classification structure along with a single point of authority for retention and disposition related activity. Other incumbent repositories such as FileNet and Documentum may also be linked to RM and the FRM layer allowing a common retention schedule to be applied across all corporate records.
Our fully connected solution supports the decision making process by leveraging physical and electronic records into one repository reducing disposition costs and encouraging a centralized review of the organization’s enterprise of records.
Typically the Infolinx deployment is intended as the first step in a complementary and integrated FRM installation methodology. The concept of FRM ensures that all of today’s stringent legal and regulatory requirements are met reducing risk and ensuring compliance.
